A date at the World Cup?

It's a direct sequel to the funny comic strip "The World Cup Getaway." Here, Maria tells Matt that what he did could be considered illegal or risky given the use of his abilities in public. He says he was careful and that he did pay for his ticket in the end, to which Maria, very intimidatingly, replies that it's still no excuse for lying to her, and that she'll make him pay dearly. Matt, scared, doesn't imagine what's coming until they both end up going to Mexico's second game in the World Cup, but this time together, as a sort of date so they can both enjoy the match (neither of them likes soccer, but being together made them truly enjoy it). In the end, Matt seems to be out of danger, asking Maria if it was enough to pay for lying to her, to which Maria replies that "it depends." Matt understands that it depends on Mexico winning the next match, which he knows statistically his country is doomed to lose, and deep down he knows that under those circumstances, he'll also be doomed by Maria's revenge.
